Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Surf Live Score. By using the app or related API pages, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Surf Live Score provides surf event information, rankings, athlete details, countdowns, favorites, widgets, Apple Watch features, iMessage content, notifications, and related sports content for informational and entertainment purposes.
The service is operated through mobile app features, app extensions, website pages, APIs, Firebase, Google Cloud, Apple platform services, and other service providers needed to run the app. The Google Cloud Console and Firebase Console are administrative tools used by LOUD srl and are not user account portals for Surf Live Score.

3. No official affiliation
Surf Live Score is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with the World Surf League, WSL, Instagram, YouTube, Apple, Google, Firebase, or any athlete, event organizer, sponsor, or third-party platform referenced in the app. Names, logos, event titles, athlete names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
4. Sports data, public profiles, and availability
We work to keep event schedules, rankings, scores, countdowns, athlete profiles, athlete images, public links, and related information accurate and up to date. However, data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or changed by source providers without notice. Surf Live Score does not guarantee that any score, ranking, event status, countdown, athlete profile, notification, widget, watch view, or iMessage asset will be accurate, complete, or real time.
5. Not professional advice
The app is provided for general sports information only. It is not betting advice, financial advice, legal advice, medical advice, or professional advice of any kind.
6. Notifications, widgets, watch, and iMessage
Notifications, widgets, Apple Watch features, and iMessage content may depend on device settings, network conditions, operating system behavior, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification service, and other third-party services. We do not guarantee that notifications, countdowns, widget updates, watch data, or iMessage assets will arrive or update at a specific time or at all. You are responsible for managing notification, widget, and extension settings on your device.
7. Platform permissions
The app may request permissions such as notifications or use platform settings needed for Apple features. Optional permission prompts and system settings are controlled by Apple platform rules and may change over time.
8. Anonymous access, local preferences, and future accounts
The app may use anonymous Firebase authentication and local device storage to provide app data, favorites, selected season, language fallback, widget data, and related preferences. Do not submit confidential credentials, secrets, or sensitive personal information through app features, API pages, or support requests unless we specifically ask for information needed to resolve a request. If future versions introduce named accounts, paid features, or additional user-generated content, these Terms may be updated.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app or API pages for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, bypass rate limits, or compromise the app, API, Firebase, Google Cloud, Apple platform integrations, or related infrastructure.
- Copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app or its content without permission.
- Misrepresent Surf Live Score as an official World Surf League or athlete service.
- Upload, transmit, or request publication of sensitive credentials, keys, tokens, private account data, or unlawful content.
10. Third-party services and links
The app may use or link to third-party services, including Firebase, Google Cloud, Apple services, Apple Maps, Instagram, YouTube, and World Surf League related pages. These services may have their own terms, privacy policies, quotas, security rules, and availability limitations. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, availability, or practices.
11. Intellectual property
Surf Live Score, including its app design, code, original graphics, interface, and original text, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Public sports information, athlete names, event names, third-party marks, images, and linked content remain the property of their respective owners.
12. App Store and platform terms
Your use of the app may also be subject to Apple App Store terms, iOS terms, and other platform rules. If there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory platform rules, the platform rules apply only to the extent required.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The app and related API pages are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LOUD srl and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed events, delayed notifications, failed widget updates, unavailable APIs, infrastructure outages, third-party service changes, or reliance on inaccurate sports information.
15. Suspension or changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app or API pages at any time, including features, data sources, routes, notifications, widgets, Apple Watch features, iMessage content, Firebase integrations, Google Cloud infrastructure, or Apple platform integrations.
16. Privacy
Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how information is handled.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with the app shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the app shall be the courts of Brescia (Italy), to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
